ughth… school :(

So, school started on Monday… (fun fun and it was pretty crazy… I am mad at my school because they changed all the classes times… Like every class used to be 45minutes, and so did lunch… it was amazing to have so much time for lunch… BUT NOW!!! umm… all the classes are an hour long and lunch is 20 minutes and school gets out later and our breaks between classes are even shorter from like 3 minutes to like 1 or 2… so it is very sad…. Then, i didn’t even make it through one week of school before i got sick, on Wednesday, i went home because i was sick… oy school school school… AND NOW, i even have like a bunch of homework… about 3 or 4 teachers told us the first day of school, “you will never not have homework for me” that made us all feel just great :{… eeekkk… well i have to go do more homework… PRAY FOR ME!!!! plz… -vanessa lee xD

Colorado fun

Hey everybody! WOW, colorado was amazing, my time there, flew by. Like, it feels like it was only a few days, NOT a month. I for sure got my fill of dr. pepper…. maybe, haha… Dr. Pepper is for sure my favorite pop, so i drank it like every day!!! Man, i had so much fun and did so many things, its crazy, its hard to remember everything. I went to the rapids game, to the mall, to the movies, bowling, sleepovers, six flags, winter park, boating/tubing, and to a LOT of bar.b.q’s and a lot more stuff… I had so much fun with everyone, so anybody who had us over or we did something with you, thanks so much!!!!! The last month has been really fun and a blessing thanks. =) We arrived in mexico saturday the 2 of August. All was well and we got green lights going into mexico, although it still took about 2 hours to get acrost…. Thanks for all your prayers. love you all! -vanessa

hey!!!! =) Well, i wanted to thank everyone for your prayers on getting home safely. WE, (zane and i) HAVE OFFICIALLY MADE IT TO COLORADO!!!!!! oooo, i also want to let you know that i did have an amazing dr.pepper in the arizona airport while we had a layover!!!!! (yum yum… dr.pepper) =) well i am super excited to be here, sadly we will not be able to make it to church this sunday, but count on the following week!!! Wahoo!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Well, if you have kept up on my reading you can obviously tell that i am so excited to come to colorado… well you can’t blame me. Well, tomorrow Zane and I fly into Denver, Colorado… Can you believe it? it is finally here. So, tomorrow we leave Mexico at like…. 12:00 or so ish. Then we fly to Arizona and then have a 2 hour layover and then we arrive in Denver at like…. 8:30pm ish…. So it is gonna be kinda late. So, we are pretty excited. I will see you soon!!!! 9 days til COLORADO!!!

wahooo!!!! I am so so sooo excited. Only 9 more days until we come to Colorado. I am so excited! Guess what? I am FINALLY in my last week of school, kindof… I have this week with full classes, and then next week we have finalls week. We only go to school during our test time. So, Monday to Wednesday I have tests from 8:00 to 10:00. I have already had 2 tests this week, my grades have been good enough that I did not have to take them, I was exempt… Out of my 9 tests, I only have to take 3 of them, the rest I have been exempt. :D… that makes me happy! Well, I am super d duper excited about visiting Colorado. I will be staying with my grandparents in Larkspur. Well, I have to go do some more homework. I love you all so much, thanks for your prayers and support!

I forgot to tell you all!!!!! I had a debate today in spanish class. I had to debate on human cloning, I was en contra, against, and oh my goodness, I WON THE DEBATE!!! Me, Vanessa, won a debate on human cloning in spanish class, in spanish!!!!! (the truth is that i only did about half -more or less- in spanish and the other half in english, but i did it!!!!) not to pat myself on the back, but i was pretty excited about it… wahooo!!!!!

school… is… still-going!!!!

eeekkk.. well, i know that everyone in Colorado is out of school, but not here in Mexico. I get out of school like the 27th of June!!! That is more than a month later than Colorado, it’s not like we get a longer break either, we end june 27th and start the 1st or 2nd week of August… Well, it is just going to take forever… But, the 27th of June, I get on a plane at about 2:00 ish. Then, Zane and I fly to COLORADO!!! I just found out yesterday, I want to go so so SO bad. I am super excited. I was kinda bummed out because Relient K, my favorite band, is going to be in Colorado the 29th of June for a concert, and I can’t go. I pretty much can’t go because the tickets are expensive, but I am still really excited to be going to Colorado. Well, I have to go and do my homework… :(:(:( think of me and pray for me. i miss you all dearly. love you-vanessa

Hello todos… I am really tired and I have a headache at the moment… Well, I am really exctited to come home and visit!!!! It is about 1 month away until I will be in Colorado, I am super excited!!!!!!!!! I really want to see everyone and say hi and go to the movies… in english… and I want to drink Mountain Dew and Docter Pepper and I want to eat Chinese food. YUM. Well, if you didn’t get that, that is only because they don’t have any of that stuff down here. They do have some chinese food, but it tastes terrible… I am so excited to visit… I plan to buy some fruits and vegtables and not have to clean them like crazy before I can eat them. Oh, and when I do the laundry, I am going to use a dryer!!! Then, when I brush my teeth I am going to use the water from the faucet and I am going to drink the water from the faucet. I am going to through my toilet paper in the toilet, not the trash can. I am going to have to try really hard to only speak one language…. I speak espanglish a lot…. Well for now those are a few things I am gonna do. OH, and i am going to eat a taco bell.

ugth & yay!

Hello how are you? I am so excited right now cause Zane just found all my old pictures from the computer that crashed and died…. I am SO SO SO happy though cause it is pictures from Colorado and friends and happiness!!! And i am ugth because it is like 96 degrees F out here!!! When you walk home with text books and a heavy backpack and the sun beating on you, believe me it feels even hotter… Well I am so happy right now and feel like I could fly. I think I am scaring my family cause I am saying thank you and love you like every 20 seconds… hee hee! OH i almost forgot, we are coming home to Colorado this JULY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait! we will be speaking at NCF and also Heritage and any other churchs that will let us speak. I am so excited to see all of you!!! Well I have to go, but I really want to hear your responses, just go down under this blog and write a comment… Love you all so much!!!! -A very joyful Vanessa =)

Campamento 2008

Hello. We got back from camp almost 2 weeks ago, and that was really fun. Camp was 4 days and i got 15 hours of sleep the entire time!! The first day, i had strep throat, and a fever. I hurt so bad i wanted to go home, but then i decided i would try it a little longer, and then i got better. I was still in pain, but not at all like before. After a while, my fever left me too! Well camp was an amazing expirience, 25 teenagers gave their lives over to God. it was really cool to see everything that happened. So Wednesday to Saturday we were at camp. We got home about 10:30 ish on Saturday night and then all of us took showers, so it turned out to be about 11 or 11:30 when we got to bed. The next morning, Easter morning, there was a sunrise service at La Carpa. So we had to get up at about 4:30 in the morning, then drive to La Carpa; about 30min - 1hour… Then, once that church service ended at about 9:30. We left for Nueva Creacion about 30min-1hour away from La Carpa. Then we had normall church service there and then had cookies and the much needed caffinated coffee. After this, it is a tradition to go out to eat with everyone from both churches, La Carpa & Nueva Creacion, to a place called Sirloin Stockade. This is a buffet of really gross American food. So we went and the sad thing was that it didn’t taste that bad… (that means we haven’t had good tasting American food in a while) So, then we left at about 6:30ish and got home about 7:15ish. Once we got home i went upstairs and went to bed. I crashed and didn’t wake up until 10 in the morning!!! It was a LONG week… but very fun! Well guys i am glad you got to hear about camp… love you all! -vanessa

I CAN WALK!!!!

Hello everybody… How are you ??? I wanted to write and say happy things like… I CAN WALK!!!!! You uh… probably got that from the title… hee hee. Well i am so glad that you all have been praying for me and everything. I miss you guys so much! But… I am so not ready to move back to Colorado yet, so come down here to Mexico and visit me!!!
